Thanks to the diligence of the Michael Rosenfeld Gallery (MRG) and Jeffrey Deitch, Beauford’s work has been cited in multiple articles about Art Basel Paris over the past several days.
As we mentioned in last week’s post, Alteronce Gumby created eight new paintings and three sculptures inspired by his contemplation of Beauford’s œuvre. These were shown at the fair alongside numerous paintings and works on paper by Beauford.

Artsy published an article describing the MRG/Jeffrey Deitch booth (0.A48) as one of the ten best booths at the fair.
Art Basel described Beauford’s Greene Street as one of 10 unmissable works at Art Basel Paris.

On visiting the fair’s Website, we learned that the AB by Artist Collection selected six of Beauford’s works and incorporated them into objects designed for everyday life. The collection includes custom watercolor sets made in France by La Nouvelle Vogue, postcard portfolios of his works, an exclusive LOQI tote and a limited edition umbrella.
Art Basel Paris closed on Friday, October 23 — two days early — as a result of recent unrest in the French capital.
